Dow Jones is neutral
On Tuesday, the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average was stable after it posted its best day since
March, as reported by CNBC.
The 30-stock Dow advanced 20 points. The S&P 500 previously traded by going up 0.2%, just 0.8% lower
than its all-time high. The Nasdaq Composite surged 0.1%.
Meanwhile, Alphabet shares traded low to a certain extent following the European Commission opened
a new investigation into Google’s advertising unit.
“This is a precarious time — stocks have gone a relatively long period without any major sell-off, and
there is heightened sensitivity to every utterance from the Fed as it attempts to transition to the start of
normalization,” Invesco Chief Global Market Strategist Kristina Hooper said.
