Elon Musk says Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin
On Monday, the CEO of the automobile giant Tesla, Elon Musk, stated that his company “has not sold
any Bitcoin,” via a tweet.
“To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin,” Musk said on Twitter..
According to data from Coin Metrics, the price of bitcoin became stable only to a certain — trading at
$44,680 as of 2:35 a.m. ET Monday, as reported by CNBC.
Earlier, bitcoin’s price dropped $43,000 following Musk’s statement which implied that the electric
vehicle maker sold or may sell the rest of its bitcoin holdings.
A Twitter user going by the name @CryptoWhale said, “Bitcoiners are going to slap themselves next
quarter when they find out Tesla dumped the rest of their holdings. With the amount of hate
@elonmusk is getting, I wouldn’t blame him,” to which Musk replied, “Indeed”.
