Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Inc. says Googles solved the East American network congestion that affected Google Cloud, G Suite, and YouTube services on Sunday. In order to avoid and minimize potential recurrences, Google said it would perform an inquiry on the outage and create suitable changes to its schemes.

Google said the real cause had been recognized, but it did not develop. Snapchat was also conscious of the problem and suffered failures. DownDetector.com-a website for outage tracking-has shown that there have been more than 48,000 complaints in connection with Snapchat before falling to about 1800 as of 9 p.m. In its annual survey, Snapchat’s subsidiary Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP) said it used Google Cloud but neither organization answered inquiries about the links between the Snapchat disconnect and Google Cloud.
